Two things we do, separately or together

Hero films

A short film about your place, made to sit at the top of your website and travel on your socials. We spend time at the shop, the café, the studio or the kitchen, film the work as it really happens, and cut it into something that shows people what it’s like to walk in.

Website redesigns

A new version of the site you already have, built around what your customers come looking for: what you do, when you’re open, where to find you and how to get in touch. We keep what works and fix what doesn’t.

Named for the minus tide

On some winter afternoons the tide drops below its usual low, and the reefs off San Clemente open up: sea stars, anemones, urchins, all the life that normally sits underwater. It’s the best time to see what was there all along.

That’s the idea behind Minus Tide Studios. Brendan Sheen started it to make films and websites for the businesses that make this town what it is, and to show them the way locals already see them.
